Titled “Glass Onu Nirakku… Manass Onu Thurakku…” (Fill the glass, open the mind), this track is a rhythmic yet profound exploration of the human psyche. It speaks to those moments when we hide the “pain inside” behind a smile, yearning for a safe space to just open up, connect, and let our true stories unfold.
As a counselling psychologist and holistic healer, I’ve always been fascinated by how people process unexpected stress and seek emotional release. This song serves as a musical metaphor for exactly that—taking a moment to breathe, open the mind, and navigate the complexities of our inner world.
The Story Behind the Screen
3 + DP – One Unexpected Day isn’t just a film; it’s an emotional puzzle. The premise revolves around a highly relatable yet intense scenario:
“A cancelled trip… Confused emotions… And one mysterious person everyone keeps blaming.”
How often do our plans derail, leaving us to navigate a storm of confusion, frustration, and displaced blame? Through this script, I wanted to explore group dynamics, the fragility of our expectations, and the different masks we wear when life suddenly goes off script.
Bringing this narrative to life as the scriptwriter and director has been an incredibly fulfilling journey. It perfectly blends my clinical understanding of human behavior with my lifelong passion for authentic cinematic storytelling.
